Our residents enjoy physical activities such as better balance, outside exercise classes and SeniorFITness group exercises. We offer intellectual and educational opportunities, including trivia, news and views discussions, guest speakers and aerobics of the mind. The community provides many recreational activities too. From walking on the outdoor pathways to watching classic films and cooking with cooks classes, our residents find plenty of different ways to entertain themselves. With an onsite chapel and Mass offered, residents can enhance their spirituality daily and engage in Bible study groups and other reflective opportunities sponsored by our pastoral care department. Our residents also enjoy taking breaks and kicking back with socials, men’s club outings, cruises through the country, resident barbecues and other fun get-togethers.

As part of your independent lifestyle at St. Anthony Home you can choose from a variety of clubs, activities and events. All of our programs are designed to enrich the quality of your life.

The life-enrichment calendar in itself is special, because throughout the year our residents help create it. We partner with our residents to create a program that represents their desires, goals and dreams. It’s not so much St. Anthony Home’s life-enrichment program, but rather, it’s the residents of St. Anthony Home’s life-enrichment program.

Besides life enrichment, our residents have access to sites and events outside of the community. Many of our residents participate in some of the special events sponsored throughout the year by the city of Crown Point, as well as visit local theaters, restaurants, parks and more.
